1873 Edgar Bumsveldt, an American entrepreneur was bork in Hicksville, Pennsylvania. He moved to Manchester, England in the early 1900s and opened 'The International Cheese Emporium' on Deansgate. Immediately a great success they stocked such cheeses as, Red Leicester, Tilset, Caerphilly, Bel Parse, Red Windsor, Stilton, Gruyere, Emmental, Norwegian Jarlsberg, Liptauer, Lancashire, White Stilton, Danish Blue, Double Gloucester, Cheshire, Dorset Blue Vinney, Brie, Roquefort, Pont L'Eveque, Port Salut, Savoyard, Saint Paullin, Carre de L'est, Boursin, Bresse Bleu, Perle de Champagne, Camembert...possibly runnier than you'd like it, Gouda, Edam, Caithness, Smoked Austrian, Sage Derby, Wensleydale, Greek Feta, Gorgonzola, Parmesan, Mozzarella, Pipo Crem, Fynbo, Czechoslovakian Sheep's Milk Cheese, Venezuelan Beaver Cheese, Cheddar, Ilchester and Limburger.

He is famed for inventing 'The Inverted Self-Righting Instamatic Colourised Kaleidoscopic Cinematic Fish - Eye Camera', a piece of equipment no modern snapper could do without, indeed without Ronkit's invention photography would be back in the Dark Ages.
1980 Welsh Actor Hugh Griffith's died aged 67yo in London. He won the Best Supporting Oscar for his role as Sheik Ilderim in Ben Hur, (1959). A role that would be very in PC today as he 'Blacked-up' to play it!
1991 Idris the Wolf Boy is believed to have been born in Anglesey. Abandoned by his mother and father the baby was found and raised by a pack of wolves in the woods overlooking Llyn Codon, he was found completely naked,wild and walking on all fours by local clergyman Reverend Francis Ballantyne-Gray, who gave him the Christian name Idris as he was found on St. Idris' Day.
To this very day he sleeps in a dog-basket and is a constant gnawer on raw bones, he currently works as a Job Adviser for the DWP.
1998 Francis Albert Sinatra died from a heart attack in California aged 82yo. Besides his legendary singing career, Sinatra also won a Best Supporting Oscar for his role in 'From Here To Eternity'. He was also a founding member of the Hollywood 'Rat Pack' thereby introducing Roland and Rizzo to showbusiness.
